Thistles

Most people don't notice the thistles scuplture standing about 10 feet tall at North Inch (Park) in Perth. It was only as I was picking out the best angle and view for a photo that I noticed the inverted umbrella stuck in the tree top (left of the sculpture). It is probably there purely by accident/coincidence - although I did wonder if it is the Perth equivalent of Glasgow's statue-topping traffic cones.
