Martock

A rather grainy photo of the church in Martock where I had a Book Club Meeting . 
It’s been a hectic day - meet up with friend for coffee and lunch, long phone call with friend then out this evening. 
The book under discussion was Maggie O’Farrel’s  ‘The Marriage Portrait ‘ which was a riveting book - inspired by ‘My Last Duchess’ by Robert Browning . What could have been a dry subject was turned into a beautifully written mystery story transporting you back to Renaissance Spain .
