Jan is at the very close end.


(i did a clip of her at our recent rowing gang coffee  photo in late March - she suddenly had difficulty with balance and it escalated so so fast, a form of dementia, one in a million incidence, a protein that goes awry.  this last week she lost speech, she evidenced all signs of dementia - all this in a couple of weeks.  I went today, morphine was needed this morning and that will not stop - so it is sleep state now - so so sobering.  She won the Head of the Charles again, yes again she has 8 blue ribbons for this legendary race, last october.  It is so sobering how quickly things can go right to the end of a life.  we are all stunned)
