50 shades of green
The interment of Doreen’s ashes went ahead this morning. She is at last reunited with her husband Ken after 45 years of being apart, something she had no doubt would happen.
That marks the end of the long process over the last 4 weeks. There’s still plenty to do to close the estate.
We were very moved by Grace55 who said that Doreen will be remembered by all the blip friends who follow me. That sums up how lovely you’ve all been. Thank you.
After the ceremony we walked into town for lunch, called in at Waterstones for a coffee and ended up in Wetherspoon’s for a drink or two. Staggering (not really) home afterwards in the rain and continued cold wind. Today’s blip is of a little sunshine and dark skies contrasting with dark clouds in the background.
Just to bring me down to earth I chaired the annual spring plotholders meeting this evening!
Time to relax a little now and also prepare for the upcoming visit to Orkney which was planned several months ago and are now looking forward too. It’ll be a welcome change. I hear IainatCreel is hurriedly making his escape plans.
