Invited for coffee with the neighbours this morning, then we headed for Newcastle on the Metro. Hailstones when we emerged at Monument!

My blip is from the cathedral, where the cafe is run by St Oswins project, which aims to give second chances to offenders via mentoring, training and employment.

The bakery in HMP Northumberland provides the cakes, scones etc, and the cafe is staffed by ex-offenders.

Another walk "round the block" when we got back - sunshine and blue skies ( see extra ) but a stiff northerly wind!
