Changeable weather

A long geocaching expedition around Brixham in very changeable weather - still no rain since we we’ve been here though. See extras for some weather and scenery. What a fabulous day we’ve had.

We called to see my mum for a cuppa and got talking about her brother, my uncle Eddie, whose son Sean we met yesterday. She mentioned that Eddie was on the HMS Windrush when it sank in 1954 - he was a sailor at the time, returning from Korea with injured service people. I’ve never heard this story before - a small amount of research finds it to be true. Isn’t it incredible how memory works - she struggles to remember what she’s said seconds earlier but could recount every single detail of a story from 70 years ago.
