Hórreo (panera) no more...
This photo shows a ruined cottage with the base of its old panera. The superstructure has been taken away probably to re-erect somewhere else, though why they left this substantial base behind I don´t understand. The first extra shows the pair together from a different standpoint, which may be more useful. I´ll see if there are other photos that deserve to be extras. It´s worth pointing out the size of the timbers and how substantial the base is. Also note the stone legs ("pegoyas"), always a sign of a higher quality of original building: in rural areas they´re more likely to be of hardwood. .
