Ideas for LBB17
I’ve been asked to provide a subject for LBB17 so I thought I’d give those in the Love Blippin’ Books club a heads up for May’s prompt.
Now all you Blippers know by now that I am an animal lover, so for LBB17
I would like to suggest any book with or about animals, birds, sea-life, insects etc. You can choose fact or fiction, poetry, picture books or anything else that tickles your fancy!
The Blip is a screenshot off’t’internet (is that allowed?) from the website Goodreads.
There are hundreds of books with animals in them so I’m sure you will find something to suit.
These are some of my favourite animal people authors.
Jane Goodall
Chris Packham
Paul O’Grady
David Attenborough
You could even choose a children's book that you could read to your own children, grandchildren or if you are a teacher to your class.
I am still reading my LBB15 book! (Extra) I will finish it today then I’ll have to start my LBB16 book. The Nightingale is a wonderful book, really well written, set in France in WW11. Some parts were a bit harrowing as the Jewish people were cruelly rounded up and sent to concentration camps but mainly the story is about the resistance and how people coped in that awful war.

Today I am halfway through painting the hall, stairs and landing, I’ve made good progress but have to wait no till a new pot of paint arrives. It’s a good thing as it means I can do something else now to fill the rest of my day.
First it’s time for a cuppa!
