NHS

What do these letters stand for? I have heard a few versions wich are somewhat less than complementary but i have no problems whatsoever with the good old NHS.
I spent most of this afternoon in the new Forth Valley hospital in Larbert for an exploratory procedure. I was given a sedative so no driving till tomorrow afternoon! Felt rather uncomfortable afterwards but this has cleared now and what passes for "normal service" will resume soon, I hope.
The family have been very helpful and I must thank the girls for taxi-ing me back and forth.
