I owe my friend Jackie so much. She gave up her morning to help me clean Dad's house. I'd still be there without her help, and her carpet shampooer!

Got the call, Social housing had found two places for Dad. I visited them, tomorrow he will be assessed by one of them. He could be in within days.

If ever I start to beat myself up about whether or not a care home is the best place for him, please remind me of the day I cleared up his poo and I will know I'm doing the right thing!!
