Blossom Walk

We had Libby for a sleepover last night, so after winding some wool and sorting some buttons, Libby and I headed off to East Riddlesden Hall to go on a blossom walk. It was led by the head gardener, and whilst not quite what I expected it was very enjoyable. Libby enjoyed it too, and it was so lovely as many of the other attendees came over at the end to comment on how well behaved she was. I passed on the compliments to her mummy and daddy, but thought how sad it was that people are surprised when children are pleasant, polite and well behaved.

I didn’t get a lot of opportunities with my camera but I rather liked this shot of some apple blossom.
