Clematis alpina

I do like this clematis, it's very understated but is thriving amongst some shrubs.
Today didn't start off too promising, cold and chilly, but by afternoon it had brightened up and felt considerably warmer - until the sun went down.
I also took time to get going but finally got round to a bit of housework, a bit of sewing, a bit of gardening and a run with the group so it was worth the slow start.
