Tennis

Came home today and watched Murray boss the last three sets, then fend of some stupid questions in the interview afterwards.

Wimbledon always reminds me of the late 90s, playing tennis on the courts down at Findhorn. Me v Bruv and our epic, fifth set tie breaks, then along to Granny's for a cup of tea (because tea is better for thirst than a cold drink) and a Penguin biscuit.

When we were much younger - before we bought our own new balls - we played with proper, branded Wimbledon tennis balls, which we were told were actually used at Wimbledon. I'm not sure if that last bit was true or not. The worst bit was running all the way round to retrieve a ball if you hit a shot over the fence.

Should try to get a game before this summer's out...

Edit: Mum has confirmed it is true - a guy used to visit Findhorn and bring used balls from Wimbledon. I may have played with the balls used to win Wimbledon.
