Didn’t sleep too well so got up late. Did some tidying up and then went outside. Though grey and damp , the temperature was ok so I made a start on gardening. I had to dig out the pavers under the tree, decide how to place them and then get the ground as level as possible. It was very tricky due to lots of tree roots but it’s good enough. Planted up the big pot - I really like it but think I would prefer it to be a different colour so am researching paint options. Got all the other plants in the ground or in pots, and also did some transplanting. Think my back garden is close to full now, so will need to decide what to do with the front. My cold wasn’t too bad during the day, but as soon as I went inside (about 4.30) my nose began to stream again.
