Roofer at Work

The houses diagonally opposite me are getting their roof refurbished.

Yesterday the whole roof was just the membrane plus yellow and orange strapping.  That gave me the beautiful out-of-focus warm background to yesterday's magpie blip.  Now it will soon be back to the drab grey visible in previous blips of birds in the same tree such as:

But not quite yet.  Just after noon, with less than a third completed, they all disappeared and didn't return at all this afternoon.  Just as well the forecast is to be dry until the weekend.
