Thank you for all your lovely comments and good wishes for today. They were all very much appreciated. The service went smoothly and was very well received by all the mourners. All the technology worked and at the right time.

With the wake being held in a side aisle pretty much everyone stayed after the service, talking to each other and about Doreen. It was a very special time too.

The photo is of the flowers that were on the coffin. After the service we put them on the ledge of the east window for everyone to admire in the coming days. It was only after I’d taken the photo that I noticed the appropriate words in the stained glass of the window.
