On the fert....

Max back to sow barley in the last 20 acre field next to the quarry. Still a bit sticky but he had it done by tea time .
Sent Kev to roll yesterday's field but he came on the phone to say his tractor was leaking oil and he could smell burning. Turns out the engine oil filter has split. So phoned Mr D to come and fit another one and change the engine oil and diesel filters. Put the rollers onto the Class tractor and had it finished by 5 pm.
Set about spreading the fertiliser while the weather was good. Had the 43 acres done by 9 pm. Now sitting waiting for my tea to cook. The joys ........
