Ullswater Way
The weather was set fair so we went to do a section of the Ullswater way. We had a last minute route change due to logistical issues and settled on Aira Force > Pooley Bridge. 7 miles and 1125ft of climbing on this section.
There were lots of sheep, cattle, interesting trees and views but this image I think was my favourite today. This is looking east towards Pooley Bridge from the slopes of Gowbarrow Fell.
Completed with a beer flight in the Crown (Thwaites IPA/Blond/Amber), cider for Jess and the bus back to Aira Force.
