Duckface

We are loving our ducks (Crispy and Pancake), but they are a cause for concern at times.  Sometimes they both fly off and we think they've abandoned the nest... and then they come back!

I'm always happy to see them together in the morning, as the male Crispy doesn't seem to spend the night here anymore.  Pancake is always very hungry in the morning and quite prepared to march up to the back patio window and let me know she requires feeding.  (I've gone and bought some duck food to supplement the meal worms....).

I've no real idea where we are in the egg-cycle as it seems that ducks lay all of their eggs over a period of time and then incubate them all together for a month so they hatch at the same time.  No idea if she's still laying them or has moved onto incubating them.
