Sun Is Still Shining

There’s something about camping, the first stroll to the toilet block in flip-flops shorts and T shirt, breakfast on the griddle and being careful with a kettle of boiling water - but Mrs S and I love it.
Being the last one up I was spared the cooking duties, a coffee in the chair in the sun, breakfast cooked by Paul was the best, it’s the atmosphere and the ‘one plate’ frying. More coffee before a shower, I’ve mastered the art of leaning back, not too hard, against the spring loaded tap to ensure a constant flow.
A walk around the site is our usual Saturday activity, nothing too strenuous, coffee from the mobile coffee shop to accompany our walk back to the pitch and a cheeseburger to replenish the energy levels.
Really relaxing to sit around in the sun with the occasional cold beer chatting to friends. Mrs S and I have chatted about getting ourselves an event shelter and this weekend made up our mind, the same one as in yesterday’s main photo with the side doors as well.
The evening saw a return to the entertainment area, more beer but not at lasts nights quantity, music was ok but it turned chilly.
A stroll back for a final hot drink before turning in.
