Burn, baby burn!

I’m behind with the allotment work, this lot should’ve been burnt ages ago. I had to stay in for the roofer coming this morning (his estimate will arrive shortly) but headed up there in the afternoon. Just had a couple of hours to spare so decision time: hard work or light work? A bit of a no-brainer, out with the cig lighter and stand well back! I was burning some old fencing as well as the usual garden rubbish so I really did have to stand well back - spent ages just sat on the bench thinking I could’ve had a great bar-b-q going. That ash will get dug well in before the spuds are planted.
