Quick as a flash.
There I was, quietly going about my own business, taking some close-up pictures of the lovely aquilegia in the park, thinking I'd better get on with the job before their season was over and only the seed heads remained, when in he flew. Like a bullet. He wasn't going to hang around. In less than a fraction of a second he'd been and gone! No one was more surprised than I was that I actually managed to get his picture. Maybe not as sharp as some more expert blippers would have managed, but I was trying to manually focus on the edges of the flower petals at the time. Nonetheless I was pretty pleased to have caught him. (P.S. No flash was used in the making of this blip.)
