Walls

If walls could speak. 
A phrase that often comes to mind. This wee cottage at the west end of Wark bridge has been in the process of renovation by a local young man for several years. This past fortnight another man has been re-grouting this end wall. I'm intrigued by the outline of a different elevation. I think he has made quite a good job of it. Was that a former extension that is revealed and now demolished or has the roof been heightened up and out? I think in this case it is the latter. Perhaps an old photo would reveal the history of the house.
