Finding Peace?

I went to a meeting at Gloucester Farmers club this morning (not about farming). It's a venue in a residential area with a garden. Today was far too dreich for hanging around outside, though..Got a lift back to Stroud, then still had three and a half hours of office time. 

Came home, did my mindfulness homework exercise, but accidentally fell asleep and woke up at the end of it!  After a quick supper, I was picked up and whisked over to the other side of Stroud to watch the National Theatre version of Frankenstein (2011) starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the monster. Brilliant but unsettling, was my verdict. Much food for thought. Great staging. We then went back to Annie's to discuss it over a cup of tea, then her husband came in looking for an amplifier that he needed urgently....

It's always good to chat, but it was 11.30 by the time I got home. Not much sleep for the working woman ! This is why I've made this terrible photo, to remind me that I need to make time for peace in my frantic world.
