Floating on the Charante

This morning we had a car tour around some the villages in the Cognac area and bought some wine from a producer who had gained several gold medals. We passed through the village of St Brice on our way to lunch in a riverside restaurant in Cognac. After a very good lunch with the family we visited museum of the town as we waited patiently for the rain to stop. From the boat, where we saw several chateaux, and we were blessed with dry weather. The forecast is good for the next few days. We are off to another Blues Festival in Cognac tonight, so another late night and no time for comments. Sorry!!! Will catch up one day soon.
