Windermere

A great day with six of us meeting at the jetty museum near Windermere. Mostly a day of chat and eating, a wide and varied conversations from making dining room chairs, impressive, to using an air fryer. Later all trouped off to Lakeland for tea and cake where, yes, we looked at air fryers. Philo, our lovely Ghanaian friend has used one successfully for some time, she is a very good cook, the rest of us remain sceptical, for no other reason than buying one only to find it covered in dust later on. I am not anti gadget, just need to spend time thinking whether the cost is worth it long term.

When living in Cumbria we often experienced low flying jets, today was just the same, planes flying over the lake with the sound shaking us to the bone.

Later on
John and I have just watched Jamie Oliver on tv using his selection of airfriars, the recipes look interesting, to find them a QR code is shown, presumably there isn’t a book.
