Sad but Enjoyable

Today me and Mrs. MD said our final farewell to a very special person. Norma was 91 yrs old and bright as a button until her final few weeks.
We were very close and spent many, many happy hours with the whole family as the children grew up.  It was good to celebrate her life and say a final goodby along with the rest of her family. Many memories were relived and happy times recalled.  
Funerals can sometimes be sad and rather depressing, but this was enjoyable.  Yes, tears were shed, but all in the best of spirit.
She will be much missed.
