Monday appointment

OH had set early alarm for flight to Portugal.  He was really looking forward to his week away playing golf, and I was looking forward to a week of solitude and my own space!

No.1 had an appointment at the RM following recent scan and the results were encouraging again, although there had been some minimal change - trying not to overthink?  Unfortunately still not able to fly so escape to the sun is on hold a bit longer.  We both felt a bit deflated but trying to keep it all in perspective and celebrate the small wins.  However incredibly difficult when I think of the life she SHOULD be living.  Life is cruel and unfair.  But onwards and upwards again and taking it a day at a time.

On the plus side - this is Tomato Week so I had made them a lasagne with cheesy topping for dinner and just hope that she has some appetite?  Lunch was cheese and pickle sandwich but she only managed two squares.
