A damp and muddy walk...

We took Muriel to Rotherham General Hospital this morning for her pre-hip-op tests. Excellent service - everything on time, and when they realised Muriel was in real pain walking they brought the various bits of equipment to her, rather than having her walk from room to room along the corridor. Three lovely, caring and helpful members of staff - the only thing they couldn't do was get her transport for Wednesday, when we are away and the other couple on the street who would have taken her are also on holiday.

As it's just a meeting with the consultant to agree a a date for the op and sign forms, the lovely nurse was going to try and arrange for it to be over the phone instead, keeping the forms to sign when she goes in for the op - fingers crossed...

We took Muriel for lunch at The Sovereign pub on the way home - we haven't been in there for a while, but it was delicious!

Once home we had a wander round the res for some fresh air - it was only raining a bit! I now confess to getting my themes mixed up - so you have a high contrast blip today, which is next week's theme... Oops!
The tree shapes ( this week's theme ) are also rather nice though... ;))
