Violet or Viola

It’s been a lovely sunny day. I should not be surprised as it is my younger daughter’s birthday, 35 today, and she says the sun always shines on her birthday! Looking back to my blip of last year, this is confirmed and I remember sitting on the banks of Loch Lomond two years ago with both of my daughters, in the sunshine to celebrate A’s birthday, post-pandemic. 
We are heading out for a family meal shortly so I am posting my only photo of the day, a little wild viola or violet, I’m not sure which, growing through the paving at the front of my house, taken through the opened window which is at ground level.
