Beneath the Deadhead.
I wandered out, a bit cool for much - BUT - perched under the Cedrus Atlantica Pendula to keep an eye on the Nest Box, looks unoccupied.
Next I did a bit of deadheading - not to encourage more flowers much as tidy it up a bit, by reducing the nu ,amber of "uglibrowns".
I had noticed, previously, that there were some Bods, obviously scheduled for a little later. What I didn't know was that, provided the flower is ready to go, it'll lift neatly off leaving that wee spike and uncovering the next Bud to show.
