A good job

Yesterday Gordon saw that the little car had a puncture. He knew exactly how and where it happened - a pot hole of course. He missed one and caught the wheel. The car has no spare tyre, just some out of date spray stuff and he couldn't even find the hole so that was no good. So, he called the RAC. 

We have always been with either the RAC or the AA, but have rarely had to call them out. In the past few years it has been a couple of times for punctures - we can't be the only ones. Anyway, the guy rang up quite soon after the request was made and he was there in less than half an hour. 

He was great, knew immediately that there wasn't a hole but a split between the tyre and the wheel rim. So he sorted the rim out and fixed it temporarily and that was that. We have always found RAC/AA guys to be so friendly and very efficient and this one was no exception. 

Gordon could then take the car into Penrith and get a new tryre and have someone to look at the rim. Job done! Now he is preparing to complain yet again about pot holes!
