May Morning

It's the ye olde tradition in Oxford to rave all night in the meadows + then merge with the toffo Oxford Uni balls in the town centre at sunrise to party in the streets. My all night meadow raving days are just about done but we got up at 5am to go and watch some singing from Magdalen Bridge Tower. We were surrounded by a combination of obliterated poshos in their penguin suits, reeking of booze yelling out well spoken profanities and clusters of early risers similar to ourselves, that wanted to chip in at the last minute. It was real pretty when the sun hit the side of the tower, we listened to the choir sing some songs and then went to watch some big bellied morris dancers shake their sticks in the street.
