A New Standing Stone.

The carving is nearing completion and should be in a vertical position this year. Pat is carving and cutting the stone.

The cold weather over the winter did delay progress.  She was also carving a memorial stone which failed when a flaw in that stone revealed itself by breaking in two.

Today we decided ‘taking the car’ for a run was a priority (or diversion) and drove up to Stonehaven to have fish and chips for lunch at The Bay.

We had planned to have lunch at the seaside however the weather was such that we sat in the car and watched the seagulls watching us.

Seagulls, like Fish and Chips! They did not get any of ours.
