Chaenomeles japonica

I'm getting fed up with the cold and rain though one benefit has been my tree pollen allegy hasn't been so bad - until the last few days when it's been drier. I don't sneeze or have a runny nose but my eyes get sore and I feel tired, annoying rather than serious but not good for feeling motivated.
Last night I forgot to bring in the washing and this morning it was raining so I was annoyed with myself, but I left it hoping the weather would improve and it did get almost dry.
Church this morning and not much the rest of the day, maybe I needed a day off.
The flowering quince is looking good this year, I took its pic while out picking sprouting brocoli and carrots for tea.
