A day of Freecycling/freegling

Every so often I have a rush of blood to the head and clear out things I no longer need. On Freecycle, you can post almost ANYTHING you no longer want and someone will contact you and ask if they may have it. Today I got rid of a pair of curtains, a fire bowl, some left over bits of Indian Sandstone from our terrace, and……..the dreaded root and all the wood from the Weeping Pear we cut down. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3225519286072118917 A delightful Iranian guy who knows about pear wood, (It is such dense wood that they use it to make printing blocks in Iran!) was thrilled to have it!!! Even the dreaded root!! Goodness knows what he will do with it.
