New Beech Leaves

A drizzly day so no fence painting. I’m not complaining!

What’s been Good about my Day:
Watched a blue tit helping itself to a tuft of Geordie’s hair that I’d put on the bird feeder. Good to think Geordie is doing his bit to line a nest.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching the London Marathon.
Felt good after a mindulness meditation.
On our walk in Hamilton wood the grass was sparkling with raindrops, the gorse was heavy with the scent of coconut, and the birdsong was even more beautiful than usual. Willow warbler, song thrush, chiffchaff, linnet, goldfinch, chaffinch and robin. Then when we got to the west end of the wood I could hear two buzzards calling. It may have been drizzling mildly, but it was a good walk.
