Orford Ness

Bleak, beautiful and brutal wind. Lovely day though, in spite of cold. Orford Ness spectacular, avocets seen, wonderful views, lovely to be with our friends who had very kindly even made us a packed lunch. Somewhat relieved to be out of biting wind and found ourselves shopping with wild abandon at Snape Maltings. Back to base to thaw out and review our purchases. Dinner later.
