Hiding in Plain Sight

This handsome fellow is one of a number of English Park Cattle that graze on the heathland at Holt Lowes Nature Reserve.  In addition to the ponies, they help to keep the vegetation in check, all part of the conservation of the habitat.

B and I had a very pleasant stroll on the Lowes this afternoon, winding our way around the many curvy footpaths amongst the trees and pretty gorse.
