Nature Diary: Aeonium Starburst

Starting it's life as a very small plant this wonderful Aeoniom has grown into this splendid specimen. 
It is now producing a couple of large groups of flowers so it must enjoying life!
The left hand picture shows how tall the plant has now grown to be, and branching out on the right hand side are two lovely, thick bunches of its flowers.
The right hand picture is a close-up of of some of those flowers, plus a closer view of the plant as it looks almost all year round before it produces the flowers.
