Dandelion Appreciation Society

Food for thought and definitely for bees.

I have a number of ways I disposing of dandelions, one is by using a weed extractor one at a time (ideal for lawns), another is by donating them to next door's tortoise and finally, so that I provide a crop for the bees, I deadhead them as they stop flowering.

My garden has a number of plants flowering at the moment including a mass of bluebells but the dandelions are proving to be a favourite for the early bees.
