In Different Guise
Yesterday's Loco driver and fireman. Jon playing the Wurlitzer* and Liz his page turner for some background music at tonight's reception. Invited for the afternoon train ride and the evening do but still feeling at a low ebb, I dropped in for what turned out to be a couple of hours. It was fun :-)
Earlier I had attended St Cadfan's for Matthew and Paul's wedding blessing service and also taken Meg for a walk by Broadwater - extra pic. The rest of the day was mostly spent resting, hoping to recharge my batteries. On the nicest day of the year so far I did feel a little cheated by fate but there will be plenty more sunny days :-)
*Yes. Tywyn does have a restored Wurlitzer in the Neuadd. There are regular concerts throughout the year. Who brought it here and restored it? Well, a railway volunteer of course!
