Amongst the wild garlic*

Another cracker of a day - day 4!  Into Bantry early to get a book I'd ordered then a most enjoyable lunch in the Heron Gallery, meeting up with an old friend of my brother and her friends. We dined al fresco and then they insisted on going to a holy well they did really  then back to our place for tea. They were a bit gobsmacked by the lushness of the garden  - one lives in LA, one in New York, one near Edinburgh and one in Highgate!  Wild garlic was gathered enroute to add a bit of pungency to their supper and I liked the signage - no  ducks spotted though.
