Dumbarton Rock

An enjoyable leisurely walk with Paisley Ramblers from Cardross to Dumbarton. We lunched in the immaculate Levengrove Park with gorgeous views across the Clyde and to Dumbarton Rock. Quite a number of trees looked more autumnal than springlike, leaf scorching perhaps.

Back in Glasgow in time to walk around George Square in the aftermath of the Believe in Scotland rally for Scottish independence. It seemed pretty quiet to me and no one could tell me when the FM was due to speak, or if he already had.

I returned home meeting all the football supporters at the station, also quiet.

So good to have a mild sunny day.
