Weaners and Dust

These weaners were separated from their mums today and then taken out to a different paddock. Sadly with such dry conditions the cows can't continue on feeding their calves and the weaners too will go backwards whilst they struggle to become accustomed to life without the support of their mum. Tonight though these weaners will be given hay to help adjust to their new conditions.
Strange really, as I write this I think of the comparisons between man and beast.
