Spring has been Abandoned

Almost 24 hours of snowfall has put paid to many of the recent signs of Spring. Minus 5 during the night and minus 2 or so all day removed the rest. The birds are totally puzzled .
By the way, the one on the left is a Chaffinch I'm sure but does anyone know what the one on the right is? Two photos made within minutes of one another in different back garden trees.
