Spring

In Kirkby Lonsdale.  First thing we all walked up to the coastal path just up the road from our caravan and had coffee and delicious cake  at the Archers Cafe, made famous by the Hairy Bikers' visit there.  

D&K walked on to Carnforth where we drove to meet them and had a picnic behind the station.  We wanted to see the Heritage Centre but by the time we'd finished lunch it had closed.  We may go back another day ..... Carnforth Station is famous for the filming of 'Brief Encounter'.

Then a quick drive onwards to Kirkby Lonsdale.  A lovely town, full of gorgeous bespoke shops, a lovely Church and lots of blossom trees everywhere and my first sighting of lambs this year.
