For the family

Memories

Wine tasting this evening with S. We booked a taxi to pick us up, so that we could do justice to the amazing wines. It was a trip down memory lane as we remembered the wineries that we visited on our trips many years ago. The gentleman that hosted the session is a New Zealander, he knows his wine, his homeland and is such a character. It was a fun session.

When it finished, just after 7.30 we walked in to town to Wetherspoon’s for a meal. We were hungry as there wasn’t time for S to eat between work and socialising. It was a bit noisy in there, but we enjoyed the food and I had a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale with my burger. A first for ages.

R has been in London for a couple of days and came to collect us when she returned. She dropped us off at home and collected Olive who had stayed at home with Amber.
