Regents Park
Today has been such a lovely day. I drove down to Jen's and then caught the bus up to Regents Park to meet Jen for some late lunch. It was really good to see her office and the College, soon to be University. There was a lot of excitement as there is due to be a big function to celebrate this big change in status etc. When I walked into the park I was surprised to see a heron standing really close to the path. I started clicking away to take photos and then realised that a bit further on there were two more and then eventually four standing a little apart from one another. I dont think I have ever seen two together before so this was a real treat. The park looked green and lush and the college grounds were immaculate. In the evening and after one of Jen's tasty meals I drove them home for a relaxing weekend. We were able to BBQ on Sat night and the weather was really hot but it pushed the pollen count up and Jen and Matthew both suffered. A really smashing weekend.
