Talmont on the Gironde

After we had rested a while at our friend's summer house they took us to visit the beautiful village of Talmont and then on to a creperie restaurant hewn out of the cliffs at Meschers where we sat in the sun and watched the boats. We went into the village and looked across to this wonderful Roman Church built on the edge of the sea.
